Mohamed Isa

One of the many successful stories from the region who studied on the University of Hull MBA in Bahrain. Mohamed graduated from the Hull MBA with a distinction in July 2010 and he had two objectives when he joined the programme: expand his business knowledge and expand his professional network. In this piece, Mohamed reflects on his post-MBA journey and sets out the ways the programme realized returns beyond expectations. Mohamed Isa receives Quilly® Award from The National Academy Of Best Selling Authors™

Mohamed Isa receives the Quilly® Award for his Amazon’s Bestselling Book, The Success Blueprint, which was co-authored with the legendary success expert, Brian Tracy.

Mohammed will share his experiences of the MBA programme and discuss how it changed his life.

Dr Ahmed S. Shaalan

Dr Ahmed S. Shaalan is Lecturer in Marketing at Hull University Business School (HUBS). Ahmed is best known for his work on relationship marketing, social networks including Chinese guanxi, and corporate branding.

Current research projects on relationship marketing are applied on SMEs and include linking eastern and western relationship marketing concepts, combining personal relationships and relationship marketing to attract and retain new customers. Furthermore, Dr Ahmed studies Chinese guanxi-type relationships in different contexts including the Arab World. Research work on branding explores key determinants of corporate brand identity and its relationship with corporate social responsibility.

Dr Ahmed’s research has been published at the Journal of Business Research and Corporate Reputation Review. Also, he acts as a reviewer for Journal of Business Research and the British Academy of Management Conference.

Christopher John Lewis 

A professionally qualified MBA and MSc. Healthcare Management graduate with a proven track record in healthcare management, marketing, and accreditation. Experienced in strategic & operational management, change management and working on a trading account basis (profit & Loss and Balance Sheet) and budgetary control. Experienced in Quality and Patient Safety, and Superior Customer Service. Goal oriented, a good communicator and an effective motivator via team-working and employee empowerment. Successfully led a hospital to ACHSI accreditation. Also familiar with JCIA standards. Trained as an ACHSI accreditation surveyor.

Dr. Salman Ebrahim Alfardan

Salman joined Cable and Wireless – Bahrain in 1972 as a technician and continued with Bahrain Telecommunication Company till 2001, as a manager. He worked part-time lecturing with AMAI University, and Management Development Centre (MDCI) Hull University office, American University of London. Salman has taught and train through various institutes across the GCC.

In addition, he has provided second (shadow) supervision for MBA students. Salman gained his MBA in 1999 and his Doctor in Business Administration in 2006. Currently working as a Personal Coach (CPCC,ACC), a freelance trainer, lecturing/Supervising/Examining in the Arab Open University – MBA, and External Examiner with AMA International. Recently,

Dr Salman is a certified as Endorsed Trainer /Coach/LPI Admin for Wiley’s Leadership Challenge Program. I have trained and taught in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia various towns, Qatar, UAE and Oman. Coached people from different walks of life. Currently, President of ICF Bahrain Chapter. In 2016-2017 Salman trained on LPI Tests/Coaching and recently on Psychometric Tests mainly 15FQ+ by Psytech.
