A world renowned expert in renewable energy is to deliver the first training programme in Bahrain to focus on the region’s ability to lead in both wind and solar power.
Professor Jack Hardisty, Professor of Environmental Physics at the Department of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences at Hull University in the UK, will deliver the programme at the Radisson Blu Hotel between 5th-8th October 2016.
He will introduce delegates to the range of renewable energies with special emphasis on wind and solar power – the two resources which have huge potential in the Middle East.
The programme will be supported by Bahrain based Management Development Centre International. MDCI Managing Director Rob Rice says: “We are delighted to host Professor Hardisty and this exciting programme.
“It is the first time it has been offered in the GCC and we believe it will add to Bahrain’s reputation as a regional centre of training innovation and excellence.”
