Robert Rice

Hameed Karimi

Regional Manager

Hameed is a key part of the MDCI team and has been for the past twenty years in his role as regional manager which involves business development, student recruitment and strategy for MDCI.

He has vast experience of supporting students based in the GCC (operating in Kuwait, Qatar,Saudi Arabia) to complete their postgraduate studies and training programmes. Another part of his role is to manage the staff in the office to ensure the highest level of customer care is achieved. He also overseas supervise student administration,support the marketing activities and represent MDCI in exhibitions, network meetings etc.

Salam Mohammed

Marketing manager

Another one of MDCI's longest serving members of staff as he's been with MDCI since 1998. Salam main role is assist to the regional manager (Hameed Karimi) with the MBA  recruitment, application process, application review, assist prospects to prepare application.

Another area of expertise for Salam is his indepth knowledge and experience of social media paid advertisements Twitter, Google, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.  As well as these roles he supports students through adminstrative support and being involved in the day to day operations of the programme modules in Bahrain.


Mohamed Karimi

Programme support and Marketing manager

My current role at MDCI is to recruit potential students/candidates onto the courses and programmes.  I’m responsible for developing and administering the marketing budget and developing and implementing the marketing strategy, competitor analysis, sales strategy and operational plan.

Cora Jabile

Programme Administrator

As a valued member of the MDCI for nearly 9 years, Cora's main role as Programmer Administrator with MDCI is to liaise and coordinate with student and university requirements.

Cora's role involves, liaise and communicating with students and the University with maintenance of students records and accounting for study fees and office expenses, organising venues and logistics for the operations and students.

Dawn Nasser

Head of London office

In this role Dawn leads and oversees the implementation of examinations here in London and the UK on behalf of International universities and professional associations requiring a central, comfortable safe and secure venue to hold exams and tests.

This includes customer care for busy international students and ensuring the quality of the provision through the London office. Alongside this Dawn oversees the research and marketing for the growth of the London office. Looking at ways to see if we can attract other universities and colleges to use our service.

Katie Hudson

Chief invigilator

Katie has been working for MDCI for over fifteen years overseeing student administration is responsible for the management of the Universities formal examinations. This includes setting up examination rooms, collecting examination packs, distributing examination papers and booklets, collecting and counting them at the end of each exam and checking that students do not have unauthorised materials in the examination room, completing attendance registers.

Assist in setting up examination room, exam papers, answer booklets, including additional documents that may be required and distributing appropriate stationary.

To ensure that formal examinations run smoothly and according to Examination Codes of Conduct in conjunction with the Universities Regulations.

To undertake any staff development or training agreed to be necessary for the effective performance of duties assigned to the post.

UK based consultants

Doctor David Bright

Dr. David Bright is the Academic Consultant to MDCI. He has filled this role since 2014. The role involves him in liaising with UK, US and Canadian Universities to assess which of their programmes might be attractive to participants in the GCC region and to help set the programmes up in the GCC in partnership with MDCI.

David has over 40 years experience in UK Higher Education Institutions, including the Business Schools of Durham University, Hull University and Greenwich School of Management. His academic specialisms cover the fields of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. He has lectured on MBA programmes around the world and has supervised and examined a large number of Doctoral students.

David also has considerable experience as a Consultant in Higher Education issues, including establishing a Doctoral programme and reviewing Masters degree programmes.

Matthew Hornshaw

Business development and recruitment adviser

Enterprising international education specialist and leader with over twenty years’ experience of educational development services both in the UK & overseas. Specific expertise in international student recruitment, TNE, institutional partnership development, and delivery of in-country services that significantly impact university brand profile, and with a large and diverse global contact book.

Expert in the cultural and educational development of under-represented countries, with a personal and professional interest in the improvement of health and wellbeing in East and West Africa.

A driving force behind off-campus delivery of international programmes; engages key stakeholders at government level to establish and exploit brand reputation, increase revenue and build student numbers.

Instrumental in all aspects of programme management, particularly in relation to distance learning; collaborates with academics to provide curriculum input, leads on new programme development, marketing and administration

Experienced in the sourcing and management of overseas partners for programme collaboration with emphasis on pre-university provision

Roberto Rice

Marketing consultant

Having gained fourteen years of being based in MDCI's Bahrain regional hub and working with neighbouring GCC countries. Roberto has a good understanding and insight into life in GCC countries in areas such as cultures, business environments, academic and learning needs.

His role is that of a marketing consultant with MDCI entails, supporting and working with the team for market planning, research and promotions. Having a responsibility for MDCI's website, its content and monitoring and maintaining MDCI's customer relationship management package.

Also work alongside office for social media promotions (Facebook / Linkedin / Twitter / Google Ads / Instagram), Keystone academic solutions promotions and reporting, and exploring new marketing opportunities which could enhance MDCI’s brand and those of its partners.
